Winners
We have EXCITING news here at Ellis. Two of our students were chosen as winners in the Eureka! ePals/Smithsonian Invention Challenge. Mara and Luis invented a Cherry Slicer and showcased their invention using an animation software called Frames. Through the collaboration of Mrs. Bolvari, the ITRT, and Mrs. O'Donnell, the classroom teacher, 3rd grade students used their knowledge of simple machines to invent a compound machine.

Sock Drive
Our kindergarten team having a wool sock and granola bar drive to help support our troops abroad. If you'd like to participate, you can send in granola bars and new wools socks with your child to school. The kindergarten team will be collecting these items until Valentine's Day.
